One of our main goals are to raise the student’s awareness and encouraging them to take an active part in the European and National public affairs. Where ever Cypriot students study, PROTOPORIA is one of the leading members of the student unions. We are particularly focused on the issues concerning the engagement of European youth policies for higher education and social affairs. We carry out number of projects every year everywhere where a Cypriot student Union exists, in every university, in every European city. We organize seminars with key speakers many decision-makers and well known and appreciated professors, round table discussions with other national student organizations concerning the future of our educational system, campaigns for motivating the youth to exercise their voting right, making them understand that their voice needs to be heard and their opinion actually matters. PROTOPORIA stands for “Being Pioneer” and that has always been our vision. Opening horizons for all students, giving them the chance to shape their future as European Citizens. |
